What is each room equipped with?

Each room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe and fridge, as well as cutlery, crockery and bedding. The building also includes high-speed Wi-Fi up to 100 MB.

How much are rooms?

What facilities are there on site and nearby?

At The Outlook, we have a range of facilities for our students to enjoy. This includes a games room, pool room and common room with a TV. There’s also a terrace for functions and BBQs. Underneath our annexe, you’ll find our laundrette, as well as Bournemouth’s oldest coffee lounge next door. Oasis Fun, an indoor entertainment centre, features a bowling alley, adventure golf, arcades and bar, which serves American diner style food and drinks.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes! We have our very own bike storage on-site, making getting out and about on two wheels easy and secure.

Are there parking facilities on site?

For an additional fee, we offer on-site parking facilities.

How good are the transport links?

Excellent! Bournemouth train station is only a 15-minute walk or short bus journey away on the Wilts and Dorset M1 bus. Students can catch the U2 university bus from St. Peter’s Road, which is only a 4-minute walk away and runs directly to Talbot Campus.

What security measures are in place?

At The Outlook, we have staff on-site 24/7 to assist with our student’s needs. We also have CCTV in place, as well as a fire alarm, for your peace of mind. For added security, there is no direct access between the main building and annexe.

What is the booking fee involved?

In order to secure your room you are required to pay an Admin Fee of £65 and a Deposit of £150. The payment can be made either by bank transfer or by card over the phone / at the reception of your Residence. The Admin fee is non-refundable. The deposit is refundable at the end of your tenancy –subject to any deductions following your check out.

Is there an electric room charge?

Yes, our electric room charges help you keep track of your usage while both ensuring that you effectively manage your bills and help the environment.
